I noticed today when playing a DDC with Command Console + Artemis + BAP that I do indeed get a very fast lock, but I find that the 1st salvo of missiles I fire go where the reticle is hitting ground, and does not actually arc to their target as they should. Repeated this on a couple matches now.

This came in with their fix to lagged locks (you'd hold your reticle over the target but it took forever to lock).
No you'll get signaled that you've locked before you actually have. It happens to me on many mechs occasionally (it also happens with ssrms but they won't let you fire till the lock is "real").

I do not have a Lock-On Sound...if there is one they have probably a misadjusted volume of some sounds ingame since they changed their sounds for no reason.
In CB and most of the OB i could tell a Mech is coming from the sound of its stomping steps which is almost gone as well now and i rely purely on the visual and seismic contacts.
