Yeah I got the same email. If I had to guess this is due to the fact that there was an option to "save" you CC# to your account. If you did that I'd figure out how to undo it pretty quick.

That's the thing. I didn't save my CC#, I made a point to deselect it in fact... It could also just be a random spammer. Either way, report the user. There is a button for reporting users in the bottom right of their profiles.

That scammer has been out for years now. I am just surprised that someone has not taken them to court or traced them by now. Not sure if it is a worm or spam bot trigger for it to start. I had that come to me in WoW and just from random accounts a few times. Nothing from PGI yet.

i had similar on a few of my email, accounts, ones a general one, used for most crap, ones for paid things (old wow account) and theres even one that has NEVER been used at all thats had that.. and there legit isp emails and a gmail... i wont even get onto the spam on hotmail one ....

The user has already been reported (Several dozen times in fact) and has already been Banned.
