Paladin, have we met before? Maybe in MW3 or MW4? You seem familiar (Malaysian in Mechwarrior).

Anyway, think it is pretty much confirm that some servers are blocking some servers from certain countries, and Malaysia at times uses those servers to establish a connection to PGI servers, this would explain why you can play well between midnight to 7am but not at other times.

Try using a vpn to tunnel through and you'll find you'll be able to play.

Btw this forum reply box is really laggy. I type quickly but some letters are not coming through. I have to type really-really slowly

Some people in Malaysia can access but they are using UNIFI. Streamyx however have certain time it seems. Block probably. Not sure why MechWarrior game is under their "rule"

hey masch, maybe there are other paladin malaysia player around, haha. I played MW3 and MW4 before, but only on campaign. Tried on vpn, but not sure missing something or what, cant login after connected. using cyberghost 5. Anyway, through ping plotter, the ping is > 450ms, which i think not nice to play with.

Yeah, one of my friend, with streamyx, cant play, same error with black screen, while carrying his laptop to play at friend house in penang with penangfon, no problem at all. Think we need to switch in order to play this game.

I think they are enforcing new rules in streamyx. On that same day since i cant play MWO, my torrent download speed was capped to only 20kBps.

Well gonna dig into new broadband service soon....

If the textures pak is corrupt or has problems you can directly down only that pak file and replace it.
The links for direct download of each of the files is listed in the treads, see here for the Pak file only:

hey bro, i m from malaysia - penang too. the black screen issue might be your game account issues.

so try use repair tool first to ensure your game file not corrupted. then;
1) create new account with other email address and test the game (i tried and 100% work and many round) (as a test - dont use the existing account, it won't work)
2) problem is your game account database (send to mwo support to fix - i did and i m waiting)

its not your any problem eg: graphic card driver/game/windows/firewall/internet ISP. (i use streamyx also)

let me know how it goes..

Check your assigned IP. If it is xx.75.xx.xx, reboot your modem till you get xx.112.xx.xx

This has always fixed the problem for me.

ah... yeah, i read that before, only that hard to get that IP range for me, havent get one during that try. a bit frustrating. So far playing through VPN.

well my friends. I have to tell. I am sorry. seems like I had some misunderstanding.. after playing for 2 days straight happily and I had the black screen again (after I modify my timber wolf mechs, I hit the error invalid config etc then relog.. ok . then play 3rd round. gone auto close game and then try to relog - failed.. "unknown error" at login screen. (probably modem auto reconnect)... so my mistake - its not account issues...

here's the Default Gateway: that works so far (i'll keep update if any):

using softether to connect vpn. It's a matter of choosing the right server in the end. Learn from Manoque. Get US/UK server, Canada good also, depends on luck. =.=

Check the assigned IP if you're on Streamyx, the most problematic IP for me is the XX.75.XX.XX ones. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't but the XX.112.XX.XX always work.
