What are they lacking in? Have you tried them all? The Stormcrow and TW are some of the best mechs out there.

I'm disappointed in the Clan mechs.... That is feed back... now you trolls want more info... simple...

I will start with I feel like I'm piloting a innerspere mech with a few weapons that have a few extra perks... there is no clan technology that makes it feel like your in a clan mech..... and ohhh don't go there and say a targeting computer is the "big" difference and I should be happy... sorry I'm not.... Clan mechs have too many heat issues with the little dps boost it has over the innerspere.... they use the same technology as Innerspere ... AC cannons jam just as much as Innerspere mechs.... again shooting more ammo doesn't justify the cost of the clan mechs....

and to those who say try this mech or that mech.. I have .. I bought the entire package....

Yes, ACs jam at the same rate as IS cannons, lasers do very similar heat...in fact the same except for the ERMLs, which has a single extra point of heat.

Your complaints seem to be unfounded.

Well, pretty much every thing about the Clan mechs is different than the IS mechs so I'm not sure what you want.

Not trying to sound insulting, but had you played the game before you purchased clan mechs?

Clan mechs are amazing in the hands of experienced pilots.

Yeah, the Clans ARE missing something CRITICAL that would help them feel really different.

I kind of understand his point from what im told about how the clan mechs are in the books. On the other hand I knew how it was going to be because we don't have a real game here.

(Monkey I added you just to give you the explanation for why they were OP, I'm making no claims in regards to your opinions)

I understand that they are not the ultimate stomping mechs you expected them to be, but that comes from the fact that in the lore, the only reason clan mechs were OP was because IS mechs mostly ran the STOCK builds, which are absolute trash (about 75% of them, some are still great).

Yes, if we ran stock builds the clan mechs would have a clear advantage, but IS mechs don't run stock, these are customized mechs (which doesn't violate the lore by the way, check the mech construction handbooks, and rules if you want).

Also, this is a multiplayer game, the devs can't release mechs that are going to be absolutely positively superior to everything else, especially not behind a cash wall, as that would just kill the game completely, and render all IS mechs produced so far, obsolete.

The clans mechs as they are now feel mostly balanced, the IS mechs actually stand on equal footing for the most case, and the game is a challenge. Now if it was 10v12 or 5v8, then sure, I can understand giving the clan mechs more advantages. As it stands, the clan mechs feel different, and are fun to use in their own way. Sadly the LBXs don't work right, but other than that, they are in a good place.


As for the feedback you mentioned. Yes, you are disappointed. We get that, disappointed about what?

We need context for it to be feedback. Otherwise it's just a feeling. No one here was trying to troll you. They asked for context, and you immediately called them trolls.

Thats because the clan mechs are in fact not OP. They are different in some ways. Some perks or bonuses. But significant disadvantages that whiners DO NOT like to talk about. Pointing out the disadvantages would completely undermine whatever arguements they like to throw out there.

Basically what the thread starter is finding is that the clan mechs are not OP as he was hoping they would be. And as many incorrectly fear they are.

I'm sorry but all of the trolling has not changed my gaming experience or feelings of this game...

While you attempt to defend something without posting your So objective point of view all the while attacking me the OP of this... please take a moment and read my posts... or are you too lazy to do that....I'm entitled to my opinion despite your troll attack on the person stating their opinon...
