these tatics worked in mw2-mw4.
1. leg a mech, strip it leave it for later
2.focus fire on same mech
3.light mechs find missle boats and keep them busy
4.go after the strongest dps boat kill it or best pilot (you knew who they were cause of league play),first!!! not the easiest kill first.
5.light mechs scouted taged narced instead of trying to get that last shot to get a kill.
6.lag shooting ,leading a target so you can get a hit

If all your weapons are on recycle, don't stare down the target. Twist to your most armoured side, with the least amount of weapons.

Torso twisting is a defensive maneuver that will greatly extent your combat effectiveness.

JK on the Direwolf.

Another good tactic is not to abandon your friendly Assaults. Escort them to the main battle area.

I always run a Seismic in the Mechs i am using. I always try to report enemy movements. Information is Ammunition!

Also use a LRM pack if you got space. A lrm salvo might just kill or cripple that Mech thats just moved out of Line of Sight.

I am aware that many people frown on lrms, but sometimes that last salvo can mean the difference between you and or an ally getting destroyed later.

Save up and use Modules. Seismic Sensor, Radar Denial and Target Decay, can make a difference to how a match can play out.

Do not turn you back on the enemy. Back away around a corner, then turn and re-position. Its slower but makes you harder to kill. (Only exception is if your front armor is gone and your rear is full)

Avoid Ghost heat. Group your weapons appropriately. Yes that alpha is so good and hard to resist, but if u miss it might mean your own destruction. Fire off half then a split second later the other half.

12 Artillery strikes followed by 12 Airstrikes are best Tictacs.

Avoid the most common place to fight on a map like our beloved h10 on alpine, the ring of fire on morrdor, don't go counter-clockwise on river city, and never go boat on forest colony unless you like to use your own team mates as meatshields/cover.

Target the mech you're fighting.
Or just target an enemy you spot.
Make it habitual.

Yes. They are. Most damage with little to no losses. If your were trying to be sarcastic, next time try harder. :)

*Shoot LRM's randomly around the map so you can see where they're hiding from their AMS fire.
*Let them chase your light mechs into an ambush.
*If a light mech stops running, shoot off its leg.
*Hold LRM fire at the beginning of a match. Let them get comfortable and close, then let it rain.
*Use ECM coverage to flank and brawl from the blind side.

Etc, etc.
