Hi there,
I'm going to buy a CTF 3D as my first bought mech. I'm looking for advices about nice build I should go for. I'm quiete fan of LLA and UAC5.
Spent some time on http://www.mechspecs.com/forum/ but a lot of the builds are quiete old.
Currently I am tending towards this build: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...3d931007a7e36d8
Can you rate this build / give me some build working currently well ?
Thanks in advance !

PPC poptarting will only be good at mid-ranges or if fired by leading it very skillfully since Friday's nerfing round, as its ray's speed will be much slower.
Large pulses instead?

2xPPC+2xLL also works well. Use a STD300 or XL340 engine. The latter provides better cooling, but is expensive and makes the mech squishier.

As for the original question (rate my build) I think your build is pretty decent. Not sure about the medium lasers, they seem like a bit of an after thought. Not sure about the three JJs either since you aren't going to be jump-sniping with UAC5/LL so not sure the tonnage is well spent on three of them. I'd probably take of the AMS and medium lasers, go down to 1 JJ for moving around, and get a standard engine on it seeing it's a build where you will be doing a bit of tanking with considering both the UAC5s and LL require time on target at medium range to do their damage. Something like this:
