Hologram projector AKA Trideo, Holograms are very much a part of the Mechwarrior universe.

"Old School" Neurohelmet overlay (Old style Mechwarrior Neurohelmets were big, bulky, and pretty dopey-looking. While they were never really written out of the canon, they don't frequently get referred to anymore due to modern tastes. Still, having that metal "Lip" over the POV at all times could be fun.

Fuzzy Dice - If its not fuzzy, but soggy, then you tripped and fell into a lake at one point. Its time to open the back door to let out some water from the Cockpit
Urbie Bobblehaed - Not usefull as there is no head to speak of which can bobble
Bumper Sticker on the back of Light mechs "When I grow up I'll be Awsome"

I know we are talking about inside the cockpit and all....and I do not know in the VAST forums if anyone suggested it....but what about a way to make your own art for your mech on the outside? (Like the nose art for aircraft from WW2?) Units and merch groups can even have thier own symbol, and you can name your mech..........
