So many pages, but I'll toss my ideas in here:

Complete cockpit skins. How about your standard Atlas cockpit, but with a dingy, weathered, near Fallout appearance? Then perhaps a Steiner cockpit skin that has Cadillac style appointments like woodgrain and gold trim? Maybe a slovenly kept one with MRE wrappers strewn about. and instead of large, fuzy dice, how about tiny metallic ones like in the Millenium Falcon?

I really, really, really liked the "boombox" in Steel Battalion. You could change out the music and it would play it like it was in your cockpit coming out of tinny speakers.

It's a lot more involved than tiny doodads, but man was it great.

I'm going to bypass reading 87 pages of ideas and hopefully add a few of my own.

I really did like the Hula Girl idea that many have suggested and would love to see it implemented as a seismic detector. Another variant of this could be a clear plastic cup of water or bottle sitting on a console or in a cup holder. Think Jurassic Park when the T-rex is nearing the vehicle and ripples form on the surface of the water. This would be amazing if it was possible to use this in an ambush scenario where you might not be able to see your enemy while you are shut down, but feel them coming.

Pin up girl suggestion.. yep! Would be neat if this was customizable by the user as well as others have said.

A place to hang your hat would be nice since it has to go somewhere when you have a neurohelmet on. Would be neat to see this customizable with different hat varieties as well.

Many fighter pilots of today have various supplements that they wear as a small "clipboard" attached to their left or right knee. This would purely add more immersion.

Liking this. Though on a more serious note... At least 2 monitors with alt views while in cockpit for rear and DFA. Everybody loves pinup girls.
