Ability to replace the default "******** betty" (a.k.a. nagging nancy, complaining cathy) with (licensed) GLaDOS or other voices.

Custimized OS boot screens when our mech powers up/down would be geeky, too.

Most of these have been mentioned but I am definately going to take the opportunity to second them. From most wanted down to 'it would be nice', I would like to see:

Custom sticker (Clan symbols, fun stuff, practically a one size fits all if it's possible)
Custom photo (If it's feasible, I support this wholeheartedly.)
Themes (Even if its just say, 'clean/miltary', 'rustic/merc' and 'Damaged' )
House symbols (Sticker on the side of a monitor, torn poster, any ragtag sort of addition)
Founder's medal (See House symbols for where it could go)
A digital clock (Working would be awesome, flashing VCR style will do though)
Ejection Handle (I would just find something cool about the ability to see it)
Side arm (it just makes sense really?)
Duct tape (On the floor or dash?)

seeing radio in the ideas
have an option to set a folder, put MP3 songs there
in the mech have the radio play the songs from that folder, showing name, time and able to change songs...

how about some old earth flags or weapons to mount on the cockpit walls
the atlas has a minibar located in its left eye (to the right of the cockpit) that you can look at
a minature sized battletech boardgame for all the BT fans

I would love to see pictures that we can post in our mechs like they do on airplanes.
I would love to see ash trays, or stickers pinned to the windows.
I would LOVE to see plush mechs that sit on a shelf.

Various paper items littered about such as, Mech Identification Cards, Maps, Fan Mail, Bills (marked red for lateness!) perhaps some currency... those cockpits shake a bit when taking a beating

Gum, Cup Holder, Old photos (Wives, Dogs, Cats, sentimental things... get the QA guys something in the game!)

Improvised cosmetics such as tape over warning lights, bumper sticker slogans or brand/house stickers on windows

How about some Faction specific things. Kurita Katana, Steiner Iron fist model, etc. I do like the idea of an automatically updated kill sheet for the available mechs; one that updates for each individual mech I own.

An upload spot for personal pics in my own cockpit is a great idea.

Can we also get some external options? Custom paint, Rank insignia etc... Please?

I don't spend much time looking around inside the cockpit & I don't have any ideas for things to put in there. How about a big ol' set of brass balls to hang off my mech? Like those ones you can buy for cars. I think they'd suit an Atlas very well, swingin' away when it lumbers along at way too slow. When you shoot 'em they'd swing back & forth & you could get XP for blowin' 'em off.

Brass balls, for real.
