I would like to see (and I apologize for not going through so many of these other responses, so these may be double-taps... but then you'll know at least 2 or more of us really want these pieces of #InCockpitMechWarriorFlair!!!

- family photos (we can upload ourselves!!!)

- old unit patches (torn from old uniforms and clipped to the sides of the cockpit)

- a "grisly war-trophy" thrown in the corner on the floor - bloody banner from a #HatedFoeLanceLeader or "cracked-off-cockpit-hatch-nametag" from a #HatedFoe

- a PDA that follows a friends "accomplishments" near-real-time!

I want a 43 page long WALL of text between the hud and the cockpit glass scrolling in a loop and containing every unimplemented request contained in this thread. It should be a feature...in just Paul's mech. Oh yeah, it needs to be pink text and brightly pulsing fast enough to cause a seizure.

The rest is just lag inducing fluff. Fluff belongs outside the cockpit and should be destructible. If you are going to pack this stuff into a cockpit, I am hoping it is optional.

Also, good call on the pants! ALL mechwarriors pilot pantsless. I prefer coolant-shorts that plug into the cockpit from a fluff standpoint.

43 pages...I doubt I can think of anything that hasn't already been said...But I might as well +1 the hula girls, radio, perhaps a little intercom/TV/transmission terminal to show pilot faces or for comstar/mission updates to be showing up in, artwork, tongue-in-cheek "cupholder" (as if, haha), thermometer (would look cool with heat buildup)...

I'm thinking also change the colors/covers on our seats/cockpit chairs, so when we look down might have a texture, or in the launch screen you can see the chair (command couch) your pilot is getting into...HOT ROD RED LEATHER, haha...
