Hmmm...the last few matches I've been in have been all Clan on one side and all Inner Sphere on the other.

I'm thinking this might be some kind of test for the MM and CW, and it's obviously working but...you might want to turn it off.

There are HUGE imbalance issues involved here, at least in the Solo queue.....

1 ) All the "trial" mechs (the ones specifically aimed at new players to use for free) are Inner Sphere. Since the matchmaker is STILL putting new players in with the veterans, the Inner Sphere team is getting stuck with WAY more new players than the Clans are.

2 ) With the advent of the new module system, those of us playing the Clans tend to have quite a few modules and experience using the consumables. Newer players simply don't. See #1 for which team is getting stuck with the new players the most.

I mean, it's cool and all...and I hope this is gearing up toward a 10 v 12 sort of deal but...be prepared for a LOT of complaints about it here in the near future.

Me? I'm loving it. It's been one ROFLSTOMP after the other and my cbill grind has hit 2.5 million cbills per hour.

Yeah, I did just now. Not that there's anything to indicate it, I started the thread way earlier than when I posted it. I started it, then forgot about it while I went about my daily stuff...noticed I had it up, finished it and posted it.

Not that it matters. If (and that's a HUGE "if") anyone at PGI reads anything on the forums, they tend to read the first page and then move on to other stuff. At least, that's the way it seems.

For what it's worth, I'm not complaining. I really like what they've done. I'd rather see them get it to a 10 v 12 sort of deal, but, let's face it....dropping in the solo queue is all about the cbills. By putting Clan vs IS, they've doubled my productivity. I'm hoping to hit 200 million cbills by the end of the week at this rate.

If last time is any indication they're running it temporarily to grab new metrics after a new patch. That seems to be their "cycle" at the moment anyhow.

IS, Clans... doesn't really matter. The one who can leg the other first wins.

And like I said, I'm hoping it'll go to some kind of 10 v 12....as opposed to them trying to see if Clan weapons are balanced against IS ones. That's what I'm fearing. Clan everything is supposed to be superior to Inner Sphere everything. You know the timeline as well as I do.

I should also point out that the fact that I like anything should be the first red flag for everyone else. I'm an sphincter. It's what I do. Hell, up until last November, I was a PROFESSIONAL sphincter....the U.S. Army paid me to do it (that's one of the job descriptions of an NCO).
