Trying to drag my gf along, but she's got no idea how to play a MechWarrior game. Granted, she was afraid to play FPS games, and now she's on TF2 and HL2:DM far more than I am. So there's hope.

My right hand plans on playing, I'll put it in charge of the mouse, and to keep my left hand from being jealous it can be in charge of the keyboard.

Trying to talk my fiance in to playing, but she is not a big into computer games, but then she wasn't into RIFT either just ask her multiple 50's, she didn't like DDO just ask her multiple 20's. So bottom line once she sees me play she'll be begging me to let her try, then next thing you know she's hook, Mhuuhaha.

Pretty much my experience, though it often takes a little more push than just her seeing me play it.

Same stories I hear in every game, however if you play WITH other couples it might help.

I don't know about your significant others but mine would not be able to wrap her head around the multitude of inputs required for this game. If it were just point and shoot but I can see it now, "Why isn't it doing anything? I was shooting all my lasers at once and my robot just turned off. This is stupid, you should come watch "My big fat gypsy wedding" with me."
