Just for the record, the Awesome is still an absolute piece of crap, at least in terms of performance.
It's outdone by pretty much everything it comes across.

The 8R makes a good missile boat but the chassis as a whole is very much "meh".

AWS can use a bigger engine for sure but otherwise its a good mech. The 8R totally wrecks face with quad SRM6s.

8Q, 8T and PB all run fine for me (except the PB needs a brake job)

Really? Makes me wonder why my 8Q recks so much face.

Yeah, the side torsos need the armor boost, not the middle.
I rarely see Awesomes cored right through the middle.
I see Awesomes have their right torso blown out quickly.... and it is all down hill from there.
Problems are the same as always.
It is a missile catcher.
The Torsos are easy to hit.
It has piss poor convergence.
It has terrible cresting.
It is slow. Unless it is a 9m or PB, and then it has **** hardpoints instead.
Exception: 8R, because it effectively has 60 tubes, can have a head mounted tag. That makes it an exceptional missible boat.
