Pgi Giveth, Pgi Taketh Away?

I really like the new quirks and can't wait to see more of the same, seriously - I'd claim you took my idea and ran with it (and could probably find the forum post to prove it) but I'm sure I'm not the first / only one to suggest something like these changes.
Sadly... I'm Not Playing until you fix this Module malarkey.
Enhanced Zoom, + Sensor Range, and Target Info Gathering on my Ilya, or bust.

Maybe a second change will come giving your mastered mechs a "Universal" slot to which you can put anything into them.

Even that would only give my Ilya two useful module slots.
I don't arty. I don't airstrike. I don't want to. Weapon modules are pointless, useless, worthless; they are actually a detriment, not a benefit, to my playstyle. Period.
I want to fire Triple AC-5's at range with accuracy, and I want to know who is where and what I am shooting at.
Advanced Sensor Range, Enhanced Zoom, and Target Info Gathering give me those things I want.
And are far from "OP" compared to dropping arty and air strikes.
FFS.

Well like I said, maybe PGI will make universal slots. I too would prefer taking more mech modules. I dont want to step on your toes but this module system is a work in progress.

No.
I want what we had before, and it was far from OP compared to the change to hand us all free slots for Coolant bullshit or arty and airstrikes.
I'm tired of PGI introducing things nobody wants and not listening to their players. Nobody was asking for more consumable slots, and I'm damn sure nobody was asking for more weapon module slots, and we certainly weren't complaining about people fitting three mech modules.

If they want my money, they'll start listening to my opinion. They ain't got a penny from me in about a year (whenever Pheonix Pack came out), beyond me spending stockpiled MC.

But really, think about it. Al you need to do is drop 1.5 tons of ammo (or armor), and boom, BAP saves you time when you switch modules form mech to mech. Oh, and it shuts down ECM (unless that got removed without anyone telling me), and it can detect shut down mechs, which happens a lot in skirmish, which I assume you play a lot of.

If you do not like it, go home. If you cannot play your mech because of 1 missing module, go home. If you seriously needed a crutch to play this game, how good are you in the first place? If you cannot adapt to a new environment in gameplay, then please go away, go away quietly. The forums are filled with enough whines as it is. Most good players probably do not care and will adjust. They may voice an opinion, but they will adjust. If you feel you must threaten and throw yourself on the floor in a fit of rage, go home.
Devs, the patch is great, and with the changes to arty/air you plan to enter later, it just got better. Do not listen to the overly obnoxious minority; those of us in the majority will continue to support you where it counts.
Let the lame comments of white knight begin lol
