Was editing my founders hunchback.

Steps I did,
Removed medium laser from arms
Removed heat sink from torsos
Added medium pulse laser to arms
Played around with looking at weapons via the hover tip, but no change to mech
Added heatsinks to arms
Saved Mech.

Tried to launch a game then got an 'invalid mech' configuration with the really helpful error message of "Invalid: Error".

Looked at my mech and even though it has only 1 energy slot in the arms somehow the medium laser I removed was back.

Have you also submitted a support ticket on this?

Good luck with resolution!

It's a known issue.
Either remove the laser manually and save the loadout again or, if that's not working, use the "Strip Mech"-button to remove all equipment and rebuild your loadout.
If the game tells you it stripped your 'mech because of an invalid build you need to save the new, stripped loadout first to see the removed equipment in your inventory again.
