Make Capping The Base Worth It.....please

getting sick of assault maps where your team could obviously take the base very easily but it doesn't happen because everyone is so focused on kills and damage....

PLEASE FIX THIS.

make the base cap worth the XP and C-Bill....really. it is the primary objective of the mode yet no one gives two craps about it.

Give us like 500 to 1000 XP and like 100-250k bills or something....Get assault mode being more than just another Skirmish mode.

And people don't blame turrets, they are a push over now with the 50HP.

A long time ago, base capping was worth more than killing the enemy team.

But, people would still prefer to kill the enemy team over capping.

Majority play this game to destroy things, not sit on capture points.

I find base captures well worth it as-is, since I tend to be the one to maul all of the turrets and get their bonuses... :)
I honestly cannot see a way to make capturing the base "more worth it" without making it less worthwhile to annihilate the enemy team. ;)

This is good suggestion and a necessary one, (also this has been mentioned a couple of times before)

Capping is totally useless (XP / Cbills wise), and only used as last resort, or to shorten the match when both teams have missed each other during their (counter)clockwise advance

if the end result players want is bills and XP then it could help.

I mean, if you are going to give an objective on the screen, then give a reason to make people want to work towards it. If not, just kill off all those modes and just make every round skirmish.

restrict alpha lance to base guarding duty and spawn bravo and charlie near the enemy base crazy i know but would change the dynamic of assault could assault crazy mode or something

We could always have a slightly modified version of Assault for that, leaving the one we have for the people who do not wish to play quite like that. :rolleyes:
But an interesting idea nonetheless. :)
