Then I looked at the list of mechs for the space samurai sale, and there are ravens there.

When are factions going to be more than just a badge again?

I know there will never be a Star Adder themed sale... but still... I dig the style here.

Hope to see more stuff like this.

It is true though, that the Raven is most closely associated with Liao. Shame that the Raven Hero seems to be more FRR themed than Capellan.
If it's any consolation, it's arguably the worst of all Ravens. I guess the FRR bought it cheap.

It makes sense that Spider, Kintaro, and Catapult are here too. However, I wonder how many catapult variants Kurita used outside of the K2. Don't get me wrong, I love PPCs and they are my 2nd favorite weapon, but LRMs are my favorite weapon (and Jumpjets are awesome).
Hunchback? Well they do have some notable Kurita pilots, but I always thought of them being more Marik than Kurita. Kurita usually hates mediums, perhaps there's some sort of samurai thing going on here because you need to have a planned strike or whatever.
Cicada? More of a Marik mech imo again. Though it acts like a light, and Kurita does like Lights.
Raven? Don't get me wrong, I love Ravens because I love supportive mechs and it has a nice design, but they are basically Cappellan.
Not even a single Assault? I suppose there really aren't any good candidates for a Kuritan assault. Atlas is usually more associated with Steiner, and the Atlas has had a bazillion sales for it already.
So yeah, out of the mechs we have available right now, only the Cicada and Raven have me scratching my head.
I'm a little surprised you didn't have a mech or two wearing the Kurita colors so people know what Kurita's Style looks like.
A sale that catches people's attention, and hypes people up for Community Warfare, nice. Just don't do it too much before Community Warfare hits (if Community Warfare is still going to be a while before it's here).

I would have settled for an urban mech (re: Defensive!)
Or a map (re: defensive posturing).
Now my beer would be contaminated with tear drops, had I any left to cry for this game.
This has been your friendly melodramatic interlude for the evening. Please return to the regularly scheduled "Clan: OP or Way OP" discussion you had originally planned

However, you're still selling the same old stuff for the same old two and a half game modes.
whatever

Still, fun themed sale. HOPEFULLY this will somehow tie into a command chair post next week and CW phase one released in August. PGI, you can do this...

When I saw the Mortal Kombat logo for the first time - back when the game was new - I thought House Kurita. So to your question: yes, because of the converse.
