Well, 95% of the time, my connection is fine. I do have some issues, once in a blue moon, on my side, thanks to the joys of living in Mexico. (Lots of good, actually, but the tropics and rainy season play merry hob with one's internet reliability, amongst other things). That said, there have been several patch, and this is one, where I have found client stability to be absolute crap. And too many other people I'm talking to in TS, and playing with and against, dropping randomly, since Tuesday, globally, to call it a "me" issue.

Especially since I always check my own side first, from my computer, to ping traces, etc.

IDK what it is, but it just seems every so often, something in the code, or possibly their own server network, is problematic.

lol I have a bunch of heroes and when I got the clan pack I said "ok that's it for real money on this game" then this sale came out... (and I won't talk about paint sales... I refuse to buy paint full price, but they suck me in when they are on sale lol)

Picked up Arrow, Firebrand and the Dragon Slayer. I love the Arrow, and ended up grabbing two more variants with cbills so I could Master it.

I havn't tried the Firebrand and DS yet, but I still have my Ember, Misery and Heavy Metal to buy variants for so I may just put the new ones on hold for a little bit till I finish up leveling the stuff I already had.


And yeah since the last patch my connection has been crap... I turned all my graphics down to medium and low and that helped some, but I am getting huge sync issues (and others too in the same matches) quite often, and disconnects and slow match loading (I never had any issues with loading matches before)

The "all or nothing" sale hit the mark albeit in a temporary way. It's not that I thought that the prices were "cheap" mind you, I believe they just became reasonable in a semi-global way that I felt I should encourage. So I dropped $30 and bought myself an Ember, an Arrow and a Firebrand (and a couple of mech bays to put them in).

My wallet is again closed though and I won't be scanning the sales daily (although I log in almost daily for at least a game or two). Make these prices "normal" and I'll buy far more mechs in the future.

I spent alot in the 3 months I played, now I hardly log on.
This is not whining, I know you guys don't care about s h i t, everyone else is just whiner or loosers who needs to l2p.

The game has been going downhill fast since Clans. Almost ruined, I will wait and see if it gets better.
If any balance is coming, if anyone actually cares about fun balanced gameplay? To me, it seems most of the
community dosent give a **** so I say...

Keep your wallet closed till they start making this game fun again...

Well, I used to spend money on MWO. Could easily afford a nice clan pack on what I've spent over time. Could buy the same one you have in the next 5 minutes if I thought it was worth it. Then I stopped paying and why is very simple.

You're incorrect, this IS Burger King. The place you go to buy substandard stuff instead of real, and quality, food.

I've easily spent more money on games than you have on MWO in the same time period. Just not on MWO. Sort of like fine dining Vs burger king.Because it's kind of broken. Fun and all but broken. Weapons don't hit right, they only just managed to fix SRMs and MGs. Lasers still have big problems and some mechs have some hefty hit reg issues (across all classes).

I bought/subbed to games that work like they're supposed to instead. When MWO works like it's supposed to I'll start paying again. I'm not trying to force the devs to make balance changes and stuff, that I can live with easy enough. But when stuff just plain doesn't work? That stuff needs fixin'.

I'm not payin for it while it's broke. MG's and SRMs now do fine IMO, it's a real good step forward. Sure, you get the occasional game where they act a little funky but that's just gaming on the internet. If they get on top of lasers and hit reg I'll start buying premium time again.

If they stop with the price bamboozling by exploiting those that don't know any better with their current sales model (not for their benefit, I'm just not gunna scan the flash sales every day just to get what I want, I want to put my money down and buy my stuffs. When I can do that I'll buy some more mechs. Not before.

So you can keep spending and subsidise the sales if you like, more power to ya, but don't expect me to go down that road with you. Mostly because I've got more financial literacy than the common hamster and understand their pricing structure.
