I went for a Trench. Reason being, I love the idea of its TBT-5S varient. Slap an XL in there and max the armor and you've got a nice Medium striker.

I'd have to say catapult or stalker are my two favs when it comes to looks.
But I do love stalkers... so I'll have to go with that ^^

to call the stalker a missile support mech is a misnomer. it's LRMs are there to cover the machine at long range as it advances down your throat.
I will go with the Trebuchet as it is the most mobile of the platforms, and matches the Catapult for firepower. I also have a love for medium mechs so there you go. if I can modify it to the 3C Standard (Artimes on the LRMs, double the ammo, fourth medium laser, and a 300XL Engine) then I will be even more in love with it as a mech. after all the only thing better then indirect LRM support is making them think there are FOUR mechs providing indirect LRM support cause you are constantly moving.

as the question was about missile support Mech, I choose the trebuchet, for he is as fit to the job as the other two but also is more mobile.
If you try to evaluate the complete package, he is of course only second to the Stalker and on the same level as the Catapult, for reasons of survivability and additional firepower besides that LRMs.

I vote for the Stalker, simply because it doesn't have to flee, or drop dead, when the enemy gets close.
The 3Fb and 3H variants are really good at long range fire support. The former has two LRM-15s with Artemis IV, the latter has dual LRM-20s.

Longbow
aww thats too many years off -.-
The assault one lol
kinda like the Catapult tho; poptarting is my thing.
Especially as the LRMs are indirect fire. Indirect fire LRMs are a poptarter's dream. As is the thing where you can achieve lock without having LOS in the first place. Though that doesnt promote poptarting as much as it promotes sitting behind a ridge and killing ppl. Though with as short as the LRM ranges look in the videos; that might not be an option either

Between Trencher and Catapult, I usually take the former:
- Cat's LRMs are all required to be in arms... arms have less armor and so can be blown off more easily
- Treb is faster, I believe, meaning you can be more responsive in a fire support mission
- Armor should be less of a factor - if you're close enough to get in a throw-down, you're not doing something right anyways
I actually picked the Stalker in the above because it's a punishing long-range mech with (from memory) a bit better speed than others in its weight class. A favourite move is to stagger-fire LRMs with LLas shots thrown in to keep my target's cockpit rockin'. Remains to be seen if this will continue to work as it looked like you needed a pretty hard hit to get thrown off in the vids.
