Not dead, just restin' after a long squawk.
Or pinin' for the fjords.

from Sarna "The ultimate amalgamation of the Free Rasalhague Republic and Clan Ghost Bear, the Rasalhague Dominion is a blend of the political, military and cultural styles of Inner Sphere and Clan societies."

The FRR (listed first) and Clan Ghost Bear (listed second as in the losers who get listed second).
The RASALHAGUE Dominion. not the Ghost Bear Dominion. not Clan Rasalhague.

Not much of a conquer if you don't even get to keep your name anywhere in there.
Government: Republic
Dominant Language(s): English and Swedish (official),
relations between the Ghost Bear Dominion and the remaining Free Rasalhague Republic worlds became increasingly cordial, and in 3103, the two realms officially united as the Rasalhague Dominion.

So to top it all off, while we might have lost a few battles, we won the war.

please enlighten us to your views on this conquer? there are so many different ways to look at it, but in the end, I default to who's name is there Rasalhague Dominon. Nothing to do with Clan Ghost Bear. Doesn't the winner get to pick the name? so yes, please try to sway me to your way of thinking. How do you "win"?

That's simple. It is, in fact, happening right now.
The FRR is made of people like you that actually care how you name the State.
So the GBs where so kind and left the FRR that little of their proudness that was left after the war :-p

" Apart from their enclave on Arcadia, granted to them by Nicholas Kerensky himself, and their traditional outpost on Strana Mechty, the Ghost Bear Clan succeeded in their relocation to their Inner Sphere Occupation Zone, which was renamed the Ghost Bear Dominion. What's more their move was vindicated when, in the wake of the Great Refusal, a motion to Abjure the Clan was hastily proposed and subsequently defeated. Tensions between former citizens of the FRR and the Ghost Bears were also eased as those living within the Dominion were granted a great deal of freedom, including in how they were ruled, while the Ghost Bears themselves began to embrace the Inner Sphere's way of life."

The last line is most important, the Ghost Bears began to embrace the Inner Sphere's way of life. While being ruled, yes the FRR were "conquered" but it was the clan that changed, not the FRR.

Fluffy makes a point.

Also we were never completely conquered either. We still controlled something like 10 systems by the end of the war.

Ok, so fluffwise then.
That is all, of course, true.
Still, the "ruleing class" were Clan Heavy.
Let's call it a draw with mutual benefits.

Okay. Draw then. Doesn't really matter in the long run.
