I say no if it has the ER PPC quirks that one of the T-bolts have.
I would say yes as long as I know it will not be heavily OPed like its normal Cbill counter part(which needs to be looked at as it is).

I think that ballistic in each arm, 2 missile in the right torso, 3 energy in the left torso, ac10 quirks, and jj and/or bigger engine could be cool.

hmm, Thunderbolt...who doesn't start singing Thunderstruck in there head when they roll a TDR...AC/DC created the song... ... ... name it in memory of Bon Scott, and give it a warhorn that has part of Thunderstruck in it, hell you could even do it with bagpipes, Mad Piper style.

I would imagine that all the mechs will get a hero variant as we go along, just nice for the game.
As it is, the July 7th patch looks like it will now include both a hero Thunderbolt and a hero Wolverine.

You now have but 2 weeks to see what it will be and get it in game.
Awesome stuff.

I was waiting long to see any chance for a TB mastery bundle, getting 3 in one go. But ended up getting enough TB's anyway.
But yeah there definetly should be one. One with alot of ballistic and energy hardpoints. Thundering cannons and striking lightning! Tallman one sound good though.

if it is a thunderbolt hero, it needs to have PPC. but no more then two, otherwise it would be awesome - and that mech already exists
zeus/jupiter had a thunderbolt, too. it was some egg shaped thing he used to throw it. looked a bit like gauss ammo on old statues. donar/woden was also responsible for the thunder, so maybe call it after a thunder god and give it a lighting paintjob with a color gradient like the norn series centurion/king crab/atlas ?
so maybe a gauss, a er-ppc and some stuff like SSRM2's ? or make it a splat-bolt ?

May I suggest this one from Sarna?
TDR-5S-T Thunderbolt Tallman The personal ‘Mech of Bremond DMM commander Leftenant-General Mary Tallman during the DCMS's Third Succession War invasion of Galtor III, only the large laser remains, with the rest of the standard weaponry replaced with a brace of four medium lasers in each side torso. The remaining weight and space is devoted to eight additional heat sinks

Seriously? This lady has not nothing on Maeve Wolf. She drove a TDR and perhaps it was TDR IIC since Wolfs Dragoons do run Clan tech.
