Paint? I must admit that I haven't painted a single mech to this day. Is blue and red free?

I think the basic colors are 3 million C-Bills a pop. Or 6 million. I forget.

I think that's for buying and never having to put another c-bill in. However, since I bought the c-bill ones a long time ago IIRC...

But Pubbie Green is the worst color! At least get red or orange or something.

EDIT: Well, at least you don't have to deal with the atrocity that is the camo spec screen.

I'm sorry to say that past the people in my starting lance, I will never see ether my allies or opponents paint. All I ever see is a red box, silhouettes, or a bunch of explosions. In the heat of combat I'm thinking more about what portions of my targets geometry correlate with what hit boxes than I am what pretty colors their giant robot is painted. There is far too much information to pay attention to already, one more thing to pay attention too that isn't absolutely necessary isn't needed.

That being said, I do have a few mechs I don't yet have a dedicated paint scheme on. I might just decide to splash some red on them for kicks. maybe it will save me from a bullet or two in a match

But it's good for recoloring a Jester or YLW to look like a K2 or CN9-A or D. There's been a time or two I was fighting what I thought was a K2 energy boat (quad LLs or something like that) and was taken a bit off guard when it jumped. When you're just paying attention to the wire diagram, it's pretty easy to not notice the difference between CPLT-K2 and CPLT-J.
