I suggest you stop forcing 50/50 win loss ratio for players.
Match maker constantly places you with below average pilots until you are near 50/50win loss again.
Pilots should not have to play in teams to counter match maker in my opinion.
If you play too many games with teams and start pulling away from the 50% win ratio you get a far too many losses when you play solo again until you near the 50% win ratio again.
It may make PGI statistics look like they have a balanced game but it is clearly obvious to those of us that have been playing for some time how it really balances the figures. It just compels me to uninstall the game again to be honest.
P.S I am fully aware this post will be ignored by PGI but it makes me feel a little better stating my opinion either way. If no one says anything you can't expect anything to change.

I have not seen anything in these forums this is other than opinions of players.
Where are the numbers, the facts, the proof?
Link the games to something like world of logs for a while and publish the results.

Negative I have put forward my "opinion" resulting from my gaming experience.
No point telling someone they are wrong unless you can offer the proof you claim I am lacking. So please do not come in here and tell me I have no factual evidence as you have offered none yourself.
I have spent many years playing online PvP games and the chances of an almost perfect 50% win / loss ratio can only be achieved with heavy bias match making the further you get from 50% the more you either win or lose.
If you claim I am incorrect based on facts, please put them forward for us to see. If not, you are merely offering your own opinion nothing more.
The only factual evidence I have is my own stats and the stats I have been told of other players I know.
I win / lose no more matches now than in May 2014. The only way to have the win / loss ratio start to stray from 50% is playing in groups as Match Maker has a smaller pool to work from. due to current group matching rules (Facts in patch notes).

The MM doesn't force you a 50/50 w/l ratio : it tries to create match where both team have 50% chance of winning.
So in the long run, after a lenghty number of match, a player should tend to a 50/50 w/l ratio (i still have a 1.22 w/l ratio after ~8k match).
Now the problem lies in how the MM works to create "fair" match : the MM only considers the ELO sumup of both team which is a bad indicator of the team average skill.

Wow, thanks Egomane.
Just spent 30 minutes of my life browsing that forum post only to find lots of vague partial information. One thing that is often mentioned in PGI posts though is the fact they want a 50% chance to win / lose.
So unless there is solid evidence being released I will continue to express my opinions on Match Maker.
