What does the 3 month Founder's time mean? I thuoght MWO was going to be free to play? It doesn't matter to me really either way, just wondering since I might want to get into that Founder's offering.

One other thing, I'm assuming the only way to get the founding mechs is to buy them?

thanks

All the information you need is here..http://mwomercs.com/founders

Also, it is 3 months of PREMIUM for Legendary. PREMIUM gives a 50% increase to XP AND CBills. :)

Hope this helps. :P

The Founders title will be with you for the duration. ;)

This too...http://mwomercs.com/...ale-now/unread/ ;)

I'll let someone else handle this one, I think just linking the search function might be a little too vague for the first time posters who keep asking the same thing over and over.

If you pay nothing.....you can play the game, gain XP and C-bills etc. If, however, you pay some money (in this case roughly $10) you can purchase 30 days of "premium", which increases xp and money gain by 50%. In essence, not paying anything, you can advance, but if you pay your $10, you get to speed up the process. I like to think of totally free play to be a demo of the whole game, but if you want to play at a more reasonable pace, you pay your "monthly" fee, since it'll take $10 every 30 days to keep premium running. Personally it's a system I like, especially since the $10 is less than I've payed for many a game, none of which I was this excited for.

As for the founders mechs, they are baseline mechs that give 25% more money. I assume (don't know for sure) that you must buy a founders pack to get the founders mechs. If MWO follows most similar F2P games, there will be other "premium" mechs you can buy down the road to get the 25% C-bill booster. The mechs themselves though are just standard mechs of their type, and can be customized etc, they just happen to make 25% more money.

Cheers.

Man it's the same 3 questions over and over and over again.

As stated before premium time will give bonuses to xp and c-bills, you'll have to pay per month after your first free month/s.
Founder's Mechs will give another 25% C-bill boost, which will be permanent, even if you don't continue your premium subscription.

So if you are premium subscriber who also purchased a founder's pack, you could be making 75% more C-bills every match. Easily worth the $60/120 if you ask me.

So you need to be piloting one of the founder's mechs in order to get the xp or CP bonuses? And thanks to al of your repsonses. Much clearer now. I haven't played a Mech since Vengence or Mercenaries. woot!

Where is the information on the 10.00 a month premium fee? So thanks for that. I'm not too fond of the founder mechs. I don't think I ever piloted those much. Maybe the catapult sometimes and then a few times the Atlas, but there were just others I liked much, much more.

For close in city fighting I usually went with the mech, can't remeber it's name, that had the most armor and used the shotgun/high damage/close in weapons and something else. Can't remeber the weapon name. If I got point blank, I could usually core or destroy anything with a full dump. Did a lot of splash damage to my own mech too, but good for team play.

So anyway, a premium acount will be 10.00 a month?

No. The founders mechs just give a 25% bonus to Cbills. The premium acct gives a 50% bonus to Cbills, and XP.
A premium account with a Founders mech will garner +75% Cbills, and +50% XP.
A non premium account with a founders mech (after the 1,2,or 3 months free premium account) will gain +25% Cbills
A non premium account (free) gains no bonuses
Hope this explains it a little clearer for you.

these constantly asked questions are getting old fast, so many do not read answers or are slightly dumb to not understand. many ask for clan mechs to be released but we start before many were designed. we enter game in year 3049....

I am dumb. Please stand by for more dumb questions. And please read them, since you are smart and can answer them. That way I don't have to read anything. Thanks!

Ah ok. Since I won't be piloting one of those, most likely, and if I don't just have to have the in game currency bonus, I'd be best off just paying the monthly.

Ok so all of the mechs on that wiki except for the Omnis and Clans will be in MWO?
