I'm just trying to get an idea of what they will cost in cbills when released, I know there will be other costs like equips/weapons etc to add into the mix.
like for example if I click on home>inventory and go to sell my DDC, it tells me its worth 2.9m cbills and 7.8mil equips, I think purchase price is double that.

When the Summoner was up for Cbills a short time it was around 14 million CB. Since the TW is probably more expensive, it is probably 1/3.
Edit: or it's 1/2 and the equipement is not included.

Well, you should say 16 Million as a good estimate:

Most are around 15 mil for this estimate, though with the other mechs there were certain discrepancies for their breakdown, such as not including AMS or targetting computers for their final breakdown...or the wrong price for weapons and ammo.

Another good one.

it could be cheaper.. when the Summoner was released they had it priced at 14-16mill but Sarna has it listed as at 21mill.

None are over 20 mil, Daishi shouldn't even touch 18 Mil...but you never know with PGI.
Fitting them will cost you a bit though, since the weapons are twice as expensive as TT.

True...
But then again, PGI has lowered the default price on some mech (cant remember which) but I know the Sarna has a price tag c-bill cost in the Info section when looking up a mech.
They have the Summoner listed at 21mill but a lot of use seen it for 14-16mill the other day when they released it for MC n cbills too lol last week

The Dire Wolf might actually be cheaper than the Timber Wolf because it doesn't have endo steel or ferro armor. The 375XL in the Timber Wolf would also be more expensive than the 300XL in the Dire Wolf.
The upgrades on a mech play a big part it what they cost for IS mechs, so if they follow that same formula for clan mechs, the Dire whale will be the same price or cheaper. This would also make the c-bill price of the Nova dirt cheap.
It will be interesting to see if they followed the same formula they use for pricing the IS mechs, or came up with a new one for the Clans.

They're using a similar method as IS for pricing...which is broken down in both my above links.
Base chassis cost, armour, equipment, all added up gives a fairly accurate cost. Engines are much cheaper than TT for heavy tonnage mechs, since in TT the price scaled with tonnage. So, light mechs might be more expensive than TT, while heavier mechs, such as the TW, will be cheaper. Weapons are twice as expensive, for some reason.
Though, as pointed out by Mechwarrior Mousse, some costs don't seem accurate in the mechs that already have their Cbill price out. TC and AMS isn't counted in one Summoner...while ammo is more expensive in another. Both are still accurate within 500k Cbills.
