The ECM locust is a Jihad era mech, so sadly we won't see a hero with that any time soon.

But of the mechs in the game, only the Raven has originally ECM.

I think one of the Locusts should have ECM hardpoint (but not the hero).

Wow that paint scheme is getting pretty detailed... wonder if you can change some of the colors at all.

I always imagined a battlemaster hero with quad ballistics and 2 energy. This thing just seems like a waste...

It makes for a good energy boat, since it's guaranteed average heat performance on all maps.

So not only are you two fantastically missing the point, but we've also attached it to moral outrage for the world as a whole that is completely divorced from fact. Wonderful. Here's some perspective. We're not talking about false idols, or something that's going to draw worship from the faith. We're not talking about physical health, emotional health, or spiritual health. We're not talking about something that is going to lead to improper action, even tangentially. We're not talking about something that is going to prevent proper action. We're talking about the PRETENTIONS of such to differentiate oneself from other people. Tribalism at its finest. There is a huge difference between choosing to behave better because it is right and choosing to behave differently because it sets you apart. This is not in the same league as enforcing a no-profanity policy, msuch the less encouraging certain behaviors in forum posts and chat like a no-bullying/insults policy. When you show me something that improves the world by the choice, I'll congratulate. When you laud someone for being nonsenically different for the sake of being different, I'm going to call you on your bull-carp as much as I would a hipster.

Boycotting the changable name based on the metaphorical 'place' on the the recolorable muder simulator exosuit? Then holding the action as superior, and wondering why everyone else isn't on the same boat. Not just 'no', HELL no. Here's your reality check, made out to Seraphim and anyone else who doesn't get it.

Extra check for Jacon: when you're ready to protest the individuals doing wrong instead of lumping the world into one basket when we can verify that the world is more peaceful than ever, people are less likely to abuse substances, the world is becoming more tolerant, and worldwide poverty is going down (Yes, REALLY, verify the sources cited yourself: http://www.cracked.c...-reporting.html), THEN you get to have the talking stick again. Until then, you can keep your slanderous, libelous yap shut.

Thata BOY!
WELL SAID!

Oh, you wanted me to say something about the mech? I agree with the OCD people, but may still get it. Looks like an interesting las-boat for random drops.

Just so everyone who seems to care knows, the Seraphim members are allowed to own and run the Hellslinger.

Have a nice day!

Yeah. I don't know why people are up in arms about it. Let people do what they want. Seriously. Who cares if the Seraphim members are okay with it or not? Let them do what they want.

Oh well

It's kind of sad they didn't do it, This mech has no real lore behind it, and it could have gotten some apocryphal lore cake.

Fought 3, and had 2 on my side over the past few days. Guess it's because I'm in a lower elo tier?

Only seen one, but the weekend just gone meant other BM variants were in favour due to the challenge.

I was hoping for a piece of that cake  I guess even their writer is busy working on Community Warfare!

I've seen them in about 40% of drops

lol I guess I'm in that tier as well ;)
Wish my kdr was better (always hovers just above or below 1.0). I should've stuck to piloting Hunchbacks but couldn't resist the siren song of the Clans ;)
And according to what I've been reading in these forums I must be a glutton for punishment because I only pilot Summoners with the rare pseudo Mad Dog drop (modded TBR-S).

This reminds me. I need to farm C-bills for an XL 400, and enough for 3 T-Wolves before they are released for C-Bills.

MWO rule number 1: If you experience something different than someone else on the forum it's because you are in a lower ELO tier.

So it only happens to the lower ELOs then? :D

I really like the super high resolution skin on this one. Hopefully this technology can be backported some of the older heroes and their blocky skins.

Karl Berg bragged about 4K textures on all things they made.
Matt Newman said they didn't ship most of the texture qualities due to low end systems and to keep the file size small.
The completely nonsensical mixture of 1k and 2k textures plays havoc with the CryEngine as it doesn't handle different texture sizes too well.

Since CryEngine doesn't handle diff size textures well, I would've thought that MWO Video Settings would be engineered in a way where if you selected the lower resolution textures that all textures in the game are the 1k ones, 2k for medium res textures, and 4k for the high setting.

It's not like that?
