Thumbs up to PGI. Too bad you didn't properly space the middle SSRM2's slots so that there's a single missile on each side like you did for the top and bottom launcher... tsk tsk on sloppiness. The paint job is amazing though, so I forgive you.

Also I love how the big banner picture on the front page slide show has it flipped so they're on the left side to de-emphasize how crappy it looks (the top of the upper launchers are obscured at the top of the page).

Again love the paint job, just that model issue irks me a lot.

The OCD in me is crying inside.

Thats the actual reason that I decided not to get one lol.

As great as this mech looks I still wish that we could get a new IS mech.

Or at least a Spider hero :(

He looks bad ass, but I'm not about to spend money on a mech that has the same overall features as the Phoenix varient. IE: +50% Cbills.

I bought it.

I figured mmmmm x3 SRM6 in the one torso? Brawler buiild.

Nope, the -15% torso speed kicks your arse.

85 ton direwolf without the clan weapons or tonnage.

I really like this mech, people can't actually claim "hero mech p2w" with this one.

We have a spider hero, Anansi. Check your skill tree. t hasn't been entered into the game yet.

EDIT:We are also getting 1 or 2 new IS mechs very soon. People are speculating either the Mauler, or the Vindicator are going to make their debut.

You mean 30% C-Bill bonus.

This mech comes with unique hardpoints, and an awesome paint scheme.

Find it on this page. The design has ferro-fibrous. Remember, PGI is attempting to be true to the canon material where applicable for 'mech design.

thanks quickdraw crobat, i haven't bought any TT books for a long time so thought it was one made up by the dev's, my real point was that ferro-fibrous needs something to get players to use it and a quirk might do it

If R&R was in place, there would be a reason to pick FF armor. However, right now, there isn't much. Wait until CW kicks into gear.

How would R&R make it valuable? I was here during the brief R&R experiment and FF armor was more expensive to repair each match. It cost to put on, then cost you more each round you played. Worst of both worlds. And, no, it does not increase the max amount of armor you can mount, just makes each point of armor weigh a bit less.

No offense, but this thing is ugly in a bad way.

ALL THOSE METAL BOXES that ruin the torso with cancerboxes. The PPC mounts.

I'd rather have seen smaller tube counts and less bloat in the torso- it could have done fine with 6-tube boxes since they're SRM mounts anyway.

I meant in regards to endo steel. Endo steel cost a LOT more than FF armor to repair. Broken Gyros would cost about 20K to repair.

It would also make people use CASE more.

Like the paint. Mostly like the hardpoints. HATE the way they implement GIANT BOXES for little Srms. Counterintuitive. Ugly. Lazy. Fix it.

Nice new mech allways loved the battlemaster, but pls change the ppc position on the left arm. They realy have to be at the same height.....

I like the camo but I do believe the position of the left arm PPC was just minimal effort on their part since that is where the Gauss Rifle normally appears and they did not want to bother moving the 'big gun' position to match the other arm. :)

PGI what is your fascination with putting VCRs onto mechs?

When I first saw the announcement, I could've sworn the missiles were on the right side, not the left side... Am I hallucinating?
