I did 90 damage in my ECM Kitfox Prime the other day and all I did really was cap on Crimson. Got several good jobs from team mates. Ended up being the last man standing and took out a brutalized Jenner for that 90 damage when he came up on me at Sigma. So all my damage was in the last 30 seconds or so. Doesn't get me lots of C-Bills, but it was a good match, and I pulled my weight by staying on task. You see a lot of poeple get tunnel vision in PUGs when it comes to Conquest. They shoot shoot shoot and everybody forgets to cap.

And I wasn't denying my team ECM coverage as we had 2 DDCs to cover the group. made sure of that before sauntering off.

Of course, Kon numbers are correct .. I can confirm it too, from the other side of the ELO, the lower numbers are a "good game" for an average LELO player (Hi!).. And if you play with LRMs, and you are not the first who die.. you can go even to the higher end... (If your team hold the target lock and you use cover... when not.. you know.. than not.. ye..)

This makes me wish that playing to the mission actually paid more.

I know. It seems everything always degenerates into a slugfest or hide and seek. Or usually hide and seek develops into a slugfest. I think XP for caps should be adjusted to make it more worth it.

Or an even better idea, how about you get ticked team XP for each capture point you currently hold? Like 50 XP per person every 30 seconds or something per cap. Yeah, some people will get free XP but as a whole it would make capturing points more enticing.

I consider the best Conquest games the ones where you kill 11 of the Reds and then win on cap. Best of both worlds in terms of XP and C-bills.

Which is actually rather sad. Almost Skirmish-Conquest instead of full blown Conquest.

This really depends.

If that's a 2X Raven that is pretty decent. If it's a 2X Cataphract then strive for closer to 300.

Remember that all gauges are merely opinions. This following chart is simply my own.
The rough estimates for "you're doing okay and pulling your weight" ranges are:
100 to 250 for mechs 20 to 35 tons.

200 to 450 for mechs between 40 and 50 tons.
250 to 650 damage for mechs 55 through 75 tons.
300 to 700 for mechs 80 tons and up.

Add 300 to the minimums on those for "You're doing very good." Add 500 to the minimums instead for "Fantastic!"
And anything beyond the high ends of fantastic, well, falls under "Bull."

it's a Raven but that was an anomaly, usually i stay between 150-250 in that mech.
