Hopefully the Clan v IS testing goes on for long enough that I can try when I get home. We need this for CW faction fighting, if Public matches are going to matter in any way for CW.

Concerning the hotfix: Good to see things getting fixed.

Concerning Clan vs. IS: You guys are aware that a larger proportion of Clan 'mech pilots are considerably experienced and a larger portion of IS pilots are new to the game or only occasional players, right? And you are taking this into account when you consider the comparison numbers, right?

I can vouch for this... I dropped twice in a Dragon Slayer (as everyone knows one of the stronger IS assault mechs) for two matches... in each case, we lost 12-0. That`s not as big a surprise as the individual scores though. I did a respectable 400-450 damage each game but ten (TEN) of my team mates did less than 100 damage. Half of them don`t even know how to pilot a mech properly... keep that in mind when doing your analysis on the numbers. Pretty much all of the IS pilots are total greenhorns, half probably still on their cadet bonus, while clan pilots are seasoned pro`s for the most part. Of course games are going to be 12-0 stomps.

Can't believe people are still sticking to this line.

You're not seeing 0-12 wipes because the IS is stuck with a trial mech or two on their side. You're seeing it because Clan tech is unarguably better at everything and only available behind a pay wall.

As one of the people that plays in the evening of PST, this one hour thing IMO is going to be insufficient to get good information.

If PGI is going to completely throw ELO out the window for these matches (and lets face it, they have to with very few veteran players running IS mechs) then it could be 12 IS mechs vs. 6 clan mechs and the clans would still win most games.

Can you make sure to update the OP in this thread when you turn IS v. Clans back OFF? If it is still going on when I get time to play tonight, I might drop in some of my IS mechs. If it is over, I'm just going to stick with grinding out XP on my Clan stuff.

Correct... some matches are Clan vs. Clan, while others are Clan vs. IS. I have yet to be in a IS vs IS match, but half the mechs would probably just run around in circles while trying to figure out firing groups so not much data for PGI in that case.

6 drops and only one was actually IS vs Clan. I'm in IS so im getting IS vs IS

probably not enough clan mechs so it makes due.

just had an IS vs IS also and honestly....it was a ton a fun without the clan mechs.
