From those 7, 2 victories and 5 defeats.
Of those defeats, 41 of 60 players failed to reach 200 damage.

One thing I'll say that popped out at me that I hadn't considered before hand, is if you look at the teamlists the IS mech team compositions are all over the map.
Commandos, Quickdraws, 3 Heavy metals (WTF?), Awesomes, the varation is huge with more mechs and more variants available.
On the other hand the Clan teams are extremely streamlined. Very few summoners and Adders (although more than expected) with heavy representation by Novas, Stormcrows, Timberwolves & Direwolves - even if you are XPing one you can run any build you would have on the others, no "bad" variant you have to suffer through.
This doesn't account for the whole story, but it did stand out when I looked at the screenies.
Do the clans have less "bads" to spoil the pot?

All of these matches, I was running my XL Jagermech. I placed a red box around the damage scores sub-200 damage. You will notice a trend, where IS usually has more of these players. My average damage (excluding the duel), however, was 543.8. Now, I do not claim to be a great player, merely average. However, I do believe that it is absurd to call Clan 'Mechs OP. All it takes is to simply think about where the IS is better than the Clans and then exploit that. Anyways, if anyone else has done something similar, feel free to post it here.

I did whatever I could that match... the problem began immediately with one guy legging a teammate for shooting him. That was the beginning of the end.
Going in the same direction and focus firing was Lostech. Proof exists as is.
You know you've won when you're leading and seeing a bunch of Champion mechs on the other side. ggclose
Edit:
I also figure that if there were Lights on the clan team.. they most likely had ECM on their Kitfoxes. That in itself is futzing up the results.

name and shame is for questionable behavior
this is pure gameplay and is "public" info shown to those who just played the match.
Let us share data here.

It's just good manners.
Would you want your name to show up in a match pic where you got little to no damage because of a rotten luck with a good flank when you know you usually do way better then that?

In the two matches with Clan vs IS... I had to "spot" targets with TAG... because the ECM coverage from the Kitfoxes was pretty vast.

They need a real good tutorial system. There really is nothing to get anyone new ready before they are swatted so many times they just give up. Without PGI making money off them.
You would think that would be a good enough reason for them to get off of their backsides and do something about it..

Tutorials not making them money directly. It's on the backburner after all.
