With this most recent patch, the projectile speed of the PPC and ERPPC have been reduced to the point that the problem with gauss/ppc loadouts should not be a problem, if you got rid of the charge time for the gauss. Gauss used to be one of my favorite weapons. Now, I hate it. It has the longest charge time of any weapon in the game. It is pretty much useless, if a fast mech gets close to you, especially lights. Ever try to shoot a light, circling you? It's next to impossible. There is not enough time to charge, aim and shoot, before it disappears from view. So how about getting rid of the chargeing delay for the gauss? It doesn't really serve a purpous anymore.

i cannot even count all the lights i shot down with my Gauss... there were lots... its not that hard.

Well. I'm not you. And that doesn't change the fact that they no longer need the nerf, with the changes they made to PPC's. How many players actually use gauss? Not many. That should tell you something.
