I trade my clan uac for IS uac anyday. Really at this point I wish I could have all IS weapons. I don't want clan weapons.

All ballistics are massively overpowered when used by Davion forces. A fully FedCom outfitted Jaegar can hold off 4 Direwolves, a Timberwolf, 3 Quickdraws, 2 Kintaros, The Hulk and a Flea, all while stopping for a tea break and without running out of ammo.

So unless you run a SRM +ML build on all your clan mechs you would be better off with IS weapons then.


Other than the weight clan srms are about the same. The IS srm do littile bit more damage . The Clan ML is the only weapon better I would agree with you here.

I wasn't aware that being half the weight was such an inconsiderable factor.

And they still weigh less even with Artemis equipped! Too bad they're still inferior too Davion ballistics else I'd pick some up.

Weight is not a factor because of the fixed xl engine along with fixed heatsink, worthless fixed jj and even fixed flamer lol. If you want to take this away I will take all is weapons and weight that comes with them.

As long as every match will essentially be an arena map, the combat will always distill down to a single or small number of best builds for the available equipment. The flavor of the month will always be the go to mech that floods each match because it's what's best suited for what is a more or less predictable set of assets for arena combat.

We will never see role warfare until combat becomes more dynamic. No set/pre-planned matches, no forced arena bowls, no combat count down to fight. Role warfare can't happen until the roles have a place to flourish outside of a canned scrimmage.

They also do 7% less damage. And come with the other chassis building restrictions.

Lol..... oh please. Oppps did my 3 ultra ac/5 jegger take you down??? Its not OP at all... in fact it can jam, leaving you with a long wait period to unjam it. It can be a hell of a weapon...or it can jam and do no damage. IMO, its fun to run and fine where its at. NO nerf bat needed on this one guy!

However, I do have fraps videos of me ripping through several Dires, Atlas, and a cat with my jegger, 255 rounds of pure bliss :-)

Perhaps it should have a charge mechanic followed by a phrase that needs to be typed into chat and a 10% chance of the weapon exploding when used?
