To the Devs or anyone who can help,
I'm one of the leaders of a rather large but casual MWO group.
We'd like to pre-register our company's name.
But one of the rules state:
"You must provide an early recruitment post or unit info post on our forums"
The thing is, we're all based in Asia and have never recruited on these forums.
We do, however, have a MWO facebook page that' about 152 members strong and growing.
Will posting the URL for that facebook page during pre-registration meet the necessary requirement?
Thanks

I think it is mostly about ensuring that the unit founder is the one entitled to set up the unit. Any proof that you can provide that says this should be sufficient, so I would say go ahead and use your face book page provided your or the founding members name is present. At best it will give you what you need and at worst they can ask you to provide more info.
This is mostly to stop people who have no right to a name from parking it out of spite, trolling or for extortion. Get in early if you can. Believe me those people are out there. Just look at those that register domain names of large companies just so they can extort some cash out of them.

There are companies who have applied using their personal forums as their recruitment page, so go ahead and use the facebook page.

Further reading through the Merc Corp registration page info has Niko confirming my above assertion. It is not ideal but it is a start to use a face book page.

You don't need an actual thread, just something to support your claim that you're really who you say you are.
