So basically the matchmaker is gonna search for a fair balance, then settle for 5 Sniper 5 Missiles 2 Suiciders like it does right now?
Not really a great idea in my eyes.

Greetings all,
Role warfare will be added to the game after the introduction of CW, or at least the start of it.
- Role selection should see the Pilots directed to one of many 'progression paths'.
- Within each path there will be selected items that will need to be accomplished to progress.
(similar to the accomplishments we see now.)
Within each role there should be 'unique items' that the Pilots can access to complete there current chosen task/role.
- examples for a scout role could be 'enhanced use of sensors', stealth movement skills, skilled high speed movement.
(I'm sure PGI could adapt items from Lore into the game as 'Pilot skill tree's' for Role progression.)
Role warfare should become a major route that all Pilots need to select as part of there progression through each Faction. It may limit the chassis that the Pilot should be driving during the skill tree progression but not outright stop the Pilot from fielding any chassis they own.
- Initially PGI addressed this aspect of the game, but little has been forthcoming recently. Hopefully it's being designed in parallel to CW.

More like 5 sniper + 5 missile + 2 suiciders versus 5 sniper + 5 missile + 2 suiciders. Instead of the magic sauce they're using now.
