Now, when unit leader switch to another faction members can't do anything.
Especially when it permanent contract.
I think it is close to slavery.
When it happends i want to see popup window like this:
"unit leader taked __ days contract with ____. Are you sure to stay in unit? Or leave unit right now?"

Its a nice to have - but look
you have your faction icon - you can leave the unit as soon you see a picture you don't like
but any unit should be able to talk to a unit leader.

In addition, leaving a unit should automatically revert you to Lone Wolf, without costing you for breaking the contract. The contract is between the unit and the House/Clan, not between the individual pilots in the unit. A unit breaking a contract should have a penalty, though it should probably be much heftier than a solo player breaking his own personal contract.

if you dont trust the ones that lead you, what hope do you have to win ?
i think you should just quit this game because you are going to be nothing more then fodder if this is yoru stance, a unit fights as one that is why a 12 man is so strong

1. Permanent contract unbreakable. And if unit have it you NEVER change to another factions. Leaving unit don't change you contract.
2. To hybrid black: Our unit is really good, but this is a game, not war.

well i agree this is some thing that might be a good idea after all the penalty is payed BY THE PLAYER it could realy hurt some one who was trying to get there rank up

@hybrid black
if I was in a unit that joined a faction that I HATEs such as the lyran* & Cap Con* filth for example then I should have a right to leave and become lone wolf because it is unfair and selfish of the unit leader to make that choice for others and the other players not having a choice to leave the house or clan.
I am clearly talking about fiction(in game) reasons.
like the reason I despise lyrans is due to that murderous ***** who will be stealing power from Victor while he is away fighting the clans.
or Cap con due to their death commandos who are not above murdering a baby* and the rest of the family who speaks out against the nut job Laio.
*this takes place in a Battletech Novel (cannot remember the name of the book though).
