Hey, I just bought 3 a la carte clanmechs, got the confirmation e-mail from paypal and from Mwo, yet after almost an hour no new mechs in the mechbay. What gives?

You didn't read the messages then.

It says it takes 24 hours (aka 1 business day) from buying the package before your mechs are unlocked.

<waits for incoming rant about how everything must be unlocked instantly, nao!>

Yes, they do. You get 3 mechbays with each mechpack.

He's doing it via the mwomercs/clans page, not using MC. They come with Mechbays there.

They're injected in the game every day at I think 5 PM PST, possibly 24 hours later, so just be patient.

Why would you buy 3 Ala Carte for $165 instead of getting 5 for 150 though, or 6 for 180?

I does NOT have to do with the mechbays. It just takes 24 hours (probably less) to processes your transaction.

I get the idea that having to wait a day is unusual as people expect digital purchases to be an instant unlock, yet this time it isn't.

You should get them around 7pm eastern tomorrow (takes one day to process the order, and packs are injected to accounts once per day) and they absolutely DO come with mechbays.

It drops down to 45 per, or $135. If you want the Warhawk, Timberwolf, and Stormcrow, it's significantly cheaper.

One would assume he bought a single model (Prime +2 variants) a la carte for $55 not three different models (9 mechs).

Because i am only interested in 3 of those mechs and the only pack that has all 3 of them in it costs 240$.

My assumption incorrect. Also good logic though.

I kind of wish I had gone a la cart instead of Daishi. I really would rather the Stormcrow and Timberwolf than the Nova and Summoner. And I wouldn't really miss the Kit Fox at all either.

Well, everything else i bought was instantly unlocked, including, i believe, the Phoenix pack. So yea, i kinda expected the clanmechs to be instantly unlocked as well.

By his wording I assumed he had purchased 3 clan mechs separate with MC not a package.

But I still think PGI should give you a free mech bay with any mech purchased even the trials.
