Anyone Else Not Buying Mechs Until You Know What Side You'll Be On In Cw And How It Will Work?

Which makes sense, even if it's something I unfortunately hadn't thought about as I filled my garage with about $100 in IS hero mechs, a Phoenix Battlemaster package, and another $100 or so in Clan preorder mechs.
So I'm sort of waiting to see how it will work... will we be able to join a house and a clan and fight for whichever side our mech belongs in? Will CW even be something I want to participate in? Will there really be separate queues? If I have to choose, which side will I want to be on?
I'm not holding my breath to find out these things anytime soon, since PGI has been pretty bold in the past about selling things without saying what they are. I mean, forget bonus modules and warhorns and clan variants, it's been more than 6 months since the ingame store showed any information beyond a name and a thumbnail for the things for sale. You'd think selling things would be a top priority.

Besides, I plan to be a Merc. I'll work for whoever's paying the most.

And if/when they start with clan hero mechs, I can bet they will want to sell them to everyone not just the clan tagged players.

If you buy Clan Mechs, at this point in the game's Timeline you need to be Clanners. All other players such as myself should only be buying Inner Sphere builds. YMMV

With C-Bills? I got a Kitfox, and will probably grab a clan medium, heavy, and assault at some point just to play with them. Will I be annoyed if they don't work in CW? Maybe, but I'm sure PGI will eventually offer some way to allow folks to play non-standard mechs in CW because, well, it will facilitate sales.
I don't plan on abandoning Steiner any time soon though.

But i am not buying mechs right now due to being a student and thus money have been a bit short during the last couple of months. I did pick up a Tibby before the summer since it was a very good deal.
