Greetings MechWarriors,

This is an update regarding UltimatePay retiring the Ultimate Game Cards.

Please be advised, MechWarrior Online will be ending our support for Ultimate Game Cards a bit sooner: August 30^th, 2014 is now the deadline to use your remaining Ultimate Points or Ultimate Game Cards on MWO. Beyond this date, we will no longer be able to accept any purchases using these systems.

To those who aren’t aware: PlaySpan/UltimatePay is beginning a restructuring of their services. Ultimate Game Cards are already being cleared from the shelves of most retail outlets and will be entirely unavailable for sale from any remaining outlets on August 15^th. If you have any remaining Ultimate Game Cards or Ultimate Points, we highly advise that you use them ASAP. If August 30^th passes without using your remaining Ultimate Points: Don’t stress! On a side note...

How come there's never ever any love for the Thunderbolt??
It definitely needs some kind of quirk to give us all a real reason to use them besides "looking cool."
Here's an idea for PGI:
A Hero Thunderbolt 5S that is 70 tons, has jump jets, a bit of extra armor, and the ability to rotate torso 360°

Sounds cool, maybe 110pkh fast, Slots for 3 or 4 Ultra AC5 and maybe 3 or 4 Medium Laser......I would buy it ;-)

Not trolling but do agree with you.
I've been looking around the forums since I posted looking for the "MWO BattleMech Suggestions" but haven't found it yet because I don't think it would belong in the "Guides and Strategies/Battlemechs" section.

Are there any plans to replace UGC with a similar payment option? I ask because UGC was my preferred way of purchasing MC.

Could you pass along a recommendation? It'd be awesome if y'all could put the $30 MC package on sale for $25 before/until end-of-month, so that people can use their $25 UGC cards.

(In the interest of full disclosure, I'm aware that this would temporarily make the 6500 MC package a better value than even the 25k; it's just something I think would make UGC supporters happy at the last, and generate a bit of extra revenue.)

Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure I could use VISA giftcards, but good to know I have an alternative to UGC.
