I'm not sure how to title what I'm after but you'll get my point and I'm certain this has to have been brought up before. However I didn't see it...

In a lot of games such as iRacing, WoT, ect you can record your matches by a simple check box or other means. This will put an exact copy of that match on your harddrive for you to go back and watch over again through the game launcher. I would love to see this in MWO as well as the free camera within the recorded match only... I can only imagine the amount of killer screenshots (which is what I want it for) that this would bring to the game. Plus clans could see where they need work and use it as a training tool for the competitive clans.

If this has been brought up before I apologize simply point me in that direction...

It would be really neat to have this option.
And other than screenshot and clan training, even new player in solo who encounter difficulty with the steep learning curve, could have a second look on their matches.

But, as much this would be awesome and i would love to see it in the game...

There are other priorities at the moment such as the community warfare.
The lack of content is the main problem of the game, and what keep the player base low.

It is a great idea, but better saved for the future.

I'd love to have something like this. I just don't think its on the Developers' priority list.

BAP comes with a recording device in the lore. It should in MWO.

Actually not a bad idea... personally I wouldn't use it as I run Nvidias Shadowplay... like being able to "ghost" record my last battle even IF I forgot to hit record at the start of the drop...

Still for those that would like to record and don't want to run a 3rd party recording program I could see it being added eventually...

I disconnected from a match and glitched into a free camera.

Greetings all,

This 'Feature' is being worked on as part of the new 'Spectator' package.

- We saw some of these early features during the Tournaments.

The whole package should have many options for methods of saving and viewing.
- Specifically designed for after match reviewing
- For use by those that want to produce 'action' videos from MWO
- And should have some special 'options' that allow for unique views.

It was 'in the works' but may have been placed on temporary hold for CW development.

Thanks 9erRed, I wasn't aware that something was in the works. Hopefully we will get those features in the future! What you stated there is exactly what I'm after...
