The Long Range Desert Group specializes in deep penetration covert reconnaissance and intelligence and rear area combat operations. Because LRDG's focus is on independent operations with minimal dependence on resupply and support crews, LRDG prefers its armored assets to be fast, reliable, easily repaired or modified in the field, and capable of extended operations with few logistical demands. LRDG seeks mechwarriors who possess resourcefullness, a can-do attitude and a penchant for getting the job done with any tools available.
