1 - Köln ( http://www.sarna.net...3%B6ln_%28HL%29 ) incorrectly shows in-game as "K_ln"
2 - Köningsberg ( http://www.sarna.net...%C3%B6ningsberg ) also has the same issue.
In fact, I suspect anything with a "ö" probably incorrectly shows as "_".
3 - Assuming the following map shows the correct relative layout ( http://www.sarna.net...League_3079.jpg ) of the Hanseatic League, there is something really whacky going on there. Gateway is not near Köningsberg and Stettin. In fact, it seems Gateway is replacing Wismar in that map?
4 - After taking a look at Danzig and Tomalov, they appear to be placed correctly in relative positions... but Hamburg seems to be replacing Lübeck... and where Hamburg should be, Lübeck is... except named merely as "L".
I'm not even going to look at it further for now. Am I the only one seeing this?
PGI, I think the parser or input data you used to get the Hansas in is borked. And it may have to do with those special characters you have to deal with in germanic languages, but not english or french.
And given I know there is at least one Köln in the Free Worlds League, you may have a problem if it's in the parser. It's worth looking into. (though, after a quick check, Köln FWL edition died sometime between 2864 and 3025, so it's probably not on the map anyway. But the problem likely exists in other worlds with the same naming issues)
Edit :
TL;DR The Hansa's map is so effed up it calls into question whether the rest of the map is correct. Potentially Garbage In, Garbage Out or parsing tool mixing things up. Inner Sphere should be checked for correctness too, and PGI really needs to find out how the Hansa got so effed up to make sure it didn't happen anywhere else.
Edit 2 :
Nueva Castile's world of Córdoba and León also have cut-off names, Galicia is misnamed as Galacia. Everything else in that polity seems right.
