Lrm Lock: Visual And Tone Mismatch

I have had this issue through several patches and i am curious if anyone else has addressed this:

What happens is that the LRM locking icon confirms the lock visually (by ceasing to move) but the LRMS are not actually locked onto the target until the tone goes off (the beep).
The result is about a 1.5 second delay between the visual confirmation of the lock and actually being able to fire the LRMS with guidance after hearing the tone of the lock.

It would seem like an easy fix. Just my 2 cents.

Pretty much a known issue . . .can't hurt to submit a support ticket to keep them reminded about it though
