I am assuming the dead fire LRM's still need the 180m to arm their warheads, correct? Or are the dead fire ones already armed as soon as they leave the tubes?

Still need the 180. They are regular LRMs, just fired without a lock.

Happy to help.

Here's actually something very few crazy LRM pilots used to do. Fire the LRMs on a locked-on mech that is heading into cover. Then lose the lock, and re-acquire it, causing the LRMs that were headed to where the mech was, to make a sharp turn and head to where the lock is now, and basically shoot around a corner. (Not as effective as it may sound, but it was a sight to behold.)
