The game is in such a bad state that you now. Never mind the network lag and times warps. The amount of LRM fire that get focused on a mech is insane. Then you add everyone getting an arty and airstrike strike. Then toss in a team with ECM and a team without ECM and its just a mess. Add a few UAVs and you are in trouble. you will have 2-3 people dead before you really engage the enemy. If those 2-3 people are not dead they are so stripped of their armor they might as well be. Maybe you don't agree and that's cool but is the game as much fun as it was when the founders package was out?
- I really think that they need to rethink some of their game play. There needs to be a limit to strikes per match. 1 per 5 mins is fine.
- The MM needs to take in to account ECM teams. I have said it before. A team with ECM against one without it has a big advantage.
- LRMs need a much longer reload time and the amount of rounds per Ton needs to be reduced a lot.
- Perhaps use some other method to reduce these 40 LRM boats or 4 Xweapon builds. Maybe add the computer module to have a certain amount of weapons it can control and types of weapons it can control. I know the TT rules may allow this or that but this is not TT. There is no twitch skill or actual driving of the mech in TT. just board positions and hexes. Totally different thing. People can put whatever weapons they want as long as the CPU they load that takes tonnage can handle it. This allows customization and prevents these meta builds to a degree.
- Since clans came out the UI has taken backseat to the gripes. Well, it still has huge flaws. Spend some time to fix it. Hell create a kickstarter to fix it if you must.
- Jump jets are not as bad as they were but I am not sure if that is because of the nerfs or that people are using diff mechs. I do know the bunny hopping mech deal to spread damage around your mech is pretty cheesy and should be fixed. I have seen it several times done when the mech is coming at you and jumping between their volleys on clan mechs. I am not sure if IS mechs are doing the same.
- Maybe this is in the game but why can we not que up for IS vs Clan matches so we can get some real data on the balance?
- Lets bring in some big maps and make it 24 on 24. Can the client and server handle that? give some multiple objectives so its not just a blob running around or let the two blobs brawl it out. Matches to me are not as fun as they used to be.
