Pacific Rim 2 is due in 2017 and is the closest thing we have to mechwarrior for TV\Movies that is current. Other than that all we have is badly taped VHS cartoons from the 90s.
Any news.. anything coming for mechwarriors?
This is one of the worst handled IPs in history.. Could have had lord of the rings or star wars epic movies from this by now. Instead they fight over unseen mechs.

Hey will the robots in pacific rim be twice as tall as they already are? Though I do like how they got GLaDOS to do the hazard warning voices on the first one.

Honestly, I'm not all THAT impressed with Pacific Rim. The robots and kaijus are way too large to have any real sense of massiveness. Gimme something six-floor tall, that would make me happy.
Wait, that's basically the height of an Atlas....

The one thing that really, reallybothered me about pacific rim is where did they get enough recources to build those giant robots!
