VoiceAttack is a voice recognition software program. You can setup up voice commands to do certain key presses or macros. But I can't seem to get it to work with Mechwarrior (as windows speech recog program doesn't work either).

So anyone have any ideas why? Tried different options and nada.

Very easy to fix:

Go into the folder where VoiceAttack is installed.
Right click on the exe
Choose Properties. Left Click
Look under the compatibility tab.
There is a box called run this program in Administrator mode. Check this. This will run VA in Admin mode every time it starts.
Enjoy.

I use VA to communicate basics in text when I PUG. Works. For instance I can call out Grid "Bravo 4" and focus the attention there. Every little bit helps. Since I stop dead when texting due to the throttle bug, it can be a lifesaver.
