an XL 220 instead of the standard 180 would have been a better choice imho for a stock engine on the Hero depending if there is enough room for heatsinks

The hero mech is based off an actual Lore example. Only the LL and LRM10 were changed on it with the removal of a heatsink to compensate for room. That is why it has a standard still. If you'd like an XL go ahead and buy one.

It's a lore Hero Mech from 3025-era, so none of that was available.

Although the Hero variant doesn't do much for me, the 1AA variant really looks like my style. 295 max engine and dual AMS.

It's not great, i use a wider degree view, and unless im zoomed in first stage i cant see out.

Also those asking for St. Ives as a faction. I asked this question once long ago in an Ask the Devs thread, and the answer was it'll come after CW is implemented. I'm not sure if that's was they're still planning, but it was planned at one point at least.
