Only 5 hardpoints? No ballistics? 3 energy hardpoints spread all over the mech? How can it be good? Is it at least tiny?

I think it looks nice, but I mean that strictly visually :)

Correction, It LOOKS fantastic. But it's specs are pretty bad. It's a poor mans GRF-1S

But yes, I had to buy it for the "Deputy Dawg" paint job

Someone posted a picture of it next to a Cataphract, it almost looked taller.

I can't even say the art direction of this game is good anymore, because scale is apparently impossible for this idiots to figure out.

If by "Cataphract" you mean "Blackjack", then you're right.

Mechbay can be deceiving. You don't really know the size until you see it in-game.

I thought the police theme was kind of cute untill I realized they actually wrote "to serve" and "protect" on it.

Making it look kind of like a police mech is one thing. Giving it sirens and a little jail cell in the center torso is a bit much.

We have mechs running around on the battlefield with pirate and police camo. I guess we can also expect Santa Claus camo, Ninja Turtles camo and Burger King camo.

Oh well.

To be fair the cataphract is massively wide AND chunky. Which is the reason for it being so short. People need to realize that tonnage =/= height. It may be slightly taller than the cata, but its maybe half as wide from what I can tell and about 2/3 as thick. That is a SIGNIFICANT change in overall mass. Lets get out of grade school here, height x width =/= mass.

The only real problem I have with the vindi's is that head catches every damn LRM out there and directs all dmg to the CT.

Honestly unless there was some compelling reason such as weight restrictions put into the game, I honestly can't see the Vindy being the best choice for a medium. It is very slow and has a very, very poor hard point selection.

This is why PGI invests all their time in making hero mechs, folks. This right here.
