1.) That's how they make money off of new players. It's called advertising. The same reason why 'Free' apps that you CAN pay for have advertising on them. Pay money and the ads go away. (The latter is not true for MWO, but should be)
2.) If it hasn't gone anywhere by now, it is doubtful
3.) Did they mention anything about that being in this patch? Nope. Why would you think they did?
4.) It's also not in the patch notes, so nope.

If I am using Premium Time shouldn't I be able to avoid seeing advertisements?
