that there is no mention of any fix for the abysmal CERPPC hit registration...
shots passing straight through mechs (especially mechs that are <150m away...PGI did state they want to reign in the long range combat correct??) doing no damage
shots not registering as hits if the paperdoll is already flashing from a previous hit

i still feel like it is a problem that the actual PPC projectile hitbox doesn't match up with the visual projectile at close range. Like the speed decrease de-synced them or something but the further out the projectile gets, the more the hitbox + visuals sync up.
either than or the 90m min range isn't actually 90m and speed decrease has somehow made it think 130m is less than 90 or something.
It really just looks like some kind of odd sync issue to me.

PPC too slow to have a 90 meter minimum range too. Autocannons don't have a minimum range and they fire faster and cooler than the PPC. How can this be balanced?
Playing MechWarrior 4 today. It's got good balancing between the damage mechs can take and the damage each weapon type does. The battles last about 2-3 times as long as MWO. The mechs have individuality, some a lot, some not so much. Check it out if you haven't in a while. See what is possible.

yeah...I haven't used IS PPCs or ERPPCs....but I believe you when you say their hit reg is borked too

Fubar hit reg plus side stepable speed nerf equals a broken weapons system. No worries, ngng nutt monkeys tested it and approved. Enjoy the new features!
